Leading in the field of chip programming, Acroview Technology announced the expansion of its compatible chip models list alongside the release of its new programming software. For Texas Instruments' multiphase buck controller TPS53681, Acroview Technology's universal programming platform, the AP8000, has completed adaptation for this chip.
The TPS53681 is a multiphase buck controller featuring two channels, built-in non-volatile memory (NVM), and a PMBus™ interface, fully compatible with TI NexFET™ power stages. Advanced control features, such as the D-CAP+™ architecture with undershoot reduction (USR) function, provide fast transient response, low output capacitance, and high efficiency. The device also offers a new phase interleaving strategy and dynamic phase shedding function, effectively improving efficiency under light-load conditions. The device supports fast dynamic voltage transitions through adjustable slew rates. Additionally, it supports the PMBus communication interface for system reporting of telemetry data such as voltage, current, power, temperature, and fault conditions. All programmable parameters can be configured via the PMBus interface and can be stored as new default values in the NVM, minimizing the number of external components required.
The TPS53681 device is available in a thermally enhanced 40-pin QFN package with an operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C.
Acroview is an officially recommended third-party programming partner of Texas Instruments (TI). The AP8000 can program TI's full range of chips. Particularly for the C2000 series, the AP8000 has been specially designed to meet the programming requirements of the C2000 series, with enhancements in programming stability and chip ESD protection, making it the optimal mass production programming equipment for C2000 series DSPs.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview Technology, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. In particular, dedicated programming solutions have been developed for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS. It comprehensively covers the needs for offline bare die programming and on-board programming of TI's full series of chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules: the main unit, the baseboard, and the adapter socket, endowing the device with excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it is not only compatible with various programmable chips on the market but also, with its stable and high-performance capabilities, serves as the core component of Acroview's automated mass production programming equipment, the IPS5800S. This enables efficient handling of large-scale chip programming tasks, meeting mass production demands.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity options, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces to facilitate convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through the networking function, users can easily achieve synchronous control of multiple programmers, efficiently conducting parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit has a built-in intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real-time. Once anomalies such as reverse chip insertion or short circuits are detected, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, comprehensively safeguarding the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly enhancing data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure a smooth and efficient programming process. To improve usability, an SD card slot is located on the back of the main unit. Users can store engineering files generated on the PC onto an SD card and insert it into the slot, then use the programmer's physical buttons to complete file selection, loading, and programming operations, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware configurations but also simplifies the workflow setup process, significantly enhancing operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of baseboards and adapter boards, effectively extending the functional boundaries of the main unit. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as ADVCHIP, RICHTEK, indiemicro, Fortior Tech, and YUNTU. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, eMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with multiple industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
