Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced further expansion of its compatible device portfolio alongside the release of its latest programming software. Its core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, now fully supports ZhiXin Semiconductor’s automotive-grade microcontroller Z20K118NCMFLT.
The Z20K118NCMFLT is an automotive-grade microcontroller introduced by ZhiXin Semiconductor, developed based on functional safety ASIL-D hardware design and software development processes, and complies with the AEC-Q100 standard. It is primarily targeted at automotive body electronics such as electric tailgates, HVAC systems, new energy applications, chassis parking/braking systems, small motor control, digital keys, and more.

Internal Block Diagram
The AP8000 universal programmer independently developed by Acroview has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible and adjustable one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, and provides both online and offline operation modes. It features dedicated programming solutions for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS, and can fully meet the offline bare-chip programming and on-board programming requirements for the entire range of ZhiXin Semiconductor chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design consisting of three core modules: the main unit, baseboard, and adapter socket, giving the device excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only supports all types of programmable chips on the market, but also delivers stable and efficient performance, making it a core component of Acroview's automated high-volume programmer IPS5800S, capable of handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production needs.

The AP8000 main unit offers flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through this networking capability, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers and efficiently perform parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit is built with intelligent safety protection circuitry that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once an anomaly such as chip reverse insertion or short circuit is detected, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, fully safeguarding the safe operation of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance ease of use, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the main unit. Users can simply store the project file generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the programmer’s physical buttons to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling stand-alone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware specifications but also simplifies the working environment setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter board, effectively extending the functionality of the main unit. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, and Kingston. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, eMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
