ACROVIEW, a leader in chip programming, has officially expanded its compatible device coverage with the release of its latest programming software. Its flagship product, the universal programming platform AP8000, now fully supports XHSC's automotive-grade 32-bit microcontroller HC32A052FAU.
The HC32A052FAU is an AEC-Q100 Grade 2 automotive-grade 32-bit MCU from XHSC, based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ core with a maximum main frequency of 64MHz, designed for various automotive node control applications.

Functional Block Diagram
The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by ACROVIEW, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. It supports flexible configurations from single-site to eight-site parallel programming, and offers both online and offline operating modes. Dedicated programming solutions for eMMC, UFS and other memory chips are also available. The AP8000 fully covers both bare-chip offline programming and on-board programming for the entire XHSC MCU family. With its innovative modular design consisting of three core modules—main unit, baseboard, and adapter socket—the AP8000 delivers outstanding compatibility and scalability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market, but also serves as the core component of ACROVIEW's automated batch programming system IPS5800S, delivering stable and high-performance handling of large-scale programming tasks to meet mass production requirements.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can conveniently achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit is equipped with intelligent safety protection circuitry that monitors chip placement and circuit connections in real time. In case of abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism to safeguard both the chip and the programmer. A high-speed FPGA chip inside the main unit significantly boosts data transmission and processing efficiency, ensuring smooth and efficient programming. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the main unit. Users can store project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then perform file selection, loading, and programming operations via the programmer's physical buttons—enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design reduces dependency on computer hardware, simplifies workspace setup, and greatly improves operational flexibility.
In terms of scalability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter board, effectively expanding the main unit's capabilities. To date, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and others. Its supported device types cover NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and more, and it is fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
