Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has officially announced the expansion of its compatible chip portfolio with the latest software release. The company's flagship product – the universal programming platform AP8000 – has now achieved full adaptation with Nuvoton's 8-bit microcontroller CM1003BF2AE.
The CM1003BF2AE is a 1T 8051-core microcontroller with embedded flash, operating at frequencies up to 24 MHz. It features up to 32 KB of embedded flash, 1.25 KB of internal RAM, and 4 KB of LDROM (boot code area). The operating voltage ranges from 2.4V to 5.5V, and it meets industrial-grade temperature requirements from -40℃ to +105℃.
The CM1003BF2AE is equipped with four 16-bit timers, one 12-bit ADC with 8 input channels, one PWM with 6 output channels (each channel supports independent duty cycle setting), two high-speed UARTs up to 1 Mbps, one SPI, and one I²C. It is suitable for various industrial control and consumer applications requiring high reliability.
The CM1003BF2AE is available in two package types: TSSOP20 and QFN20.

Internal Block Diagram
The AP8000 universal programmer independently developed by Acroview has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The system supports flexible one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, provides both online and offline operation, and features dedicated programming solutions for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS. It fully covers the bare-chip offline programming and on-board programming needs for Nuvoton's entire chip series. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules – main unit, baseboard, and adapter – endowing the device with outstanding compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as a core component of Acroview's automated batch programming system IPS5800S, delivering stable and high-efficiency performance to handle large-scale chip programming tasks and meet mass production requirements.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of security, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement and connection status in real time. Upon detecting abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers power-off protection to safeguard both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is powered by a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transfer and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can store project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the physical buttons on the programmer to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling stand-alone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware but also simplifies workspace setup and greatly improves operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the main unit's capabilities. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, and Kingston. Its supported device types are extensive, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and more, and it is fully compatible with multiple industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
