The chip programming leader, Acroview Technology, while releasing a new version of its programming software, officially announced a further expansion of its compatible chip model coverage. The company's core product—the universal programming platform AP8000—has now achieved full adaptation with Macronix's serial NOR flash memory MX25R4035F.
The MX25R4035F is a 4Mb capacity serial NOR flash, internally configured by default as 524,288 x 8 bits. When operating in quad I/O mode, the memory structure can switch to 1,048,576 x 4 bits or 2,097,152 x 2 bits.
The MX25R4035F features a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and dedicated software protocol. In single I/O mode, operations can be performed via a simple 3-wire bus, which includes three signals: clock input (SCLK), serial data input (SI), and serial data output (SO). Serial access to the device is enabled via the chip select input (CS#). In dual I/O read mode, the SI and SO pins switch to SIO0 and SIO1 pins for address/dummy bit input and data output. In quad I/O read mode, the SI, SO, WP#, and RESET#/HOLD# pins switch to SIO0, SIO1, SIO2, and SIO3 pins respectively, to implement address/dummy bit input and data output functions.
The MX25R4035F incorporates Macronix's exclusive Serial Multi-I/O (MXSMIO®) technology, supporting full-chip continuous read operations. Upon receiving a program/erase instruction, the device automatically executes the program/erase algorithm to complete the operation on the specified page, sector/block address and verifies the result. Programming instructions support execution by byte, by page (256 bytes), or by word. Erase instructions support execution by 4KB sector, 32KB block, 64KB block, or a full chip erase. To enhance user interface adaptability, the device includes a status register for real-time feedback on chip operation status. Users can send a status read instruction to check the completion status of programming or erase operations via the Write-In-Progress (WIP) busy bit. The MX25R4035F is equipped with advanced security protection features, further strengthening memory protection and data security characteristics.
The MX25R4035F utilizes Macronix's self-developed memory cell technology, ensuring stable data retention even after 100,000 program/erase cycles.

Acroview's independently developed AP8000 universal programmer has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible and adjustable one-to-one and one-to-eight configurations and provides both online and offline operating modes. In particular, dedicated programming solutions have been developed for memory chips like eMMC and UFS, fully covering the offline bare die and in-system programming needs of Macronix's entire chip series. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design comprising three core modules: the host, baseboard, and adapter socket, giving the device excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also, with its stable and efficient performance, serves as the core component of Acroview's automated mass production programming equipment IPS5800S, capable of efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production demands.

The AP8000 host offers flexible connection options, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronous control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the host features built-in intelligent safety protection circuits that monitor chip placement status and circuit connections in real-time. Upon detecting abnormalities such as reversed chip insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding both the chip and programmer. The host integrates a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency and ensuring a smooth programming process. To enhance ease of use, the host back panel includes an SD card slot. Users simply store the project file generated on the PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and can then use the programmer's physical buttons to complete file selection, loading, and programming operations, enabling independent operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware but also simplifies the work environment setup process, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of baseboards and adapter boards, effectively extending the host's functional boundaries. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering renowned brands such as SK Hynix, Micron, SanDisk, ASR, and Kingston. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, eMMC, and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats like Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
