Acroview Programmer Supports ChipSea's Signal Conditioner CDS8711

Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced further expansion of its compatible chip portfolio with the release of its latest programming software. The company's core product—the universal programming platform AP8000—has now achieved full adaptation for ChipSea's signal conditioner, the CDS8711.

The CDS8711 is a signal conditioner designed specifically for conditioning applications, suitable for industrial and process control fields. With 18 analog front-end channels, it offers flexible input signal selection, enabling gain amplification of up to 1024x and digital conditioning. The CDS8711 features an integrated 32-bit MCU that supports user-programmable software, allowing for easy implementation of customized compensation algorithms. The conditioned signals can be output in PWM format.

The CDS8711 also provides multiple interfaces such as UART, I2C, and GPIO for convenient data access and register configuration. Additionally, it is equipped with ISP (In-System Programming) and ICP (In-Circuit Programming) capabilities, allowing users to easily upgrade firmware without removing the chip, significantly enhancing ease of use.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible and adjustable one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, and offers both online and offline operation modes. Dedicated programming solutions have been developed for storage chips such as eMMC and UFS. It fully supports both offline bare-chip programming and on-board programming for the entire range of ChipSea chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design comprising three core modules: the main unit, baseboard, and adapter socket, endowing the device with exceptional compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as a core component of Acroview's automated batch programming system, the IPS5800S, with its stable and high-performance efficiency, efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production requirements.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity options, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through this networking capability, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that continuously monitors chip placement status and circuit connections. Upon detecting anomalies such as chip reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately activates the power-off protection mechanism, ensuring the safe operation of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance user convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear of the main unit. Users can simply store project files generated on a PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the programmer's physical buttons to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling standalone operation independent of a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware configuration but also simplifies the workspace setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 employs a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively expanding the functional boundaries of the main unit. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SanDisk, ASR, and Kingston. The range of supported device types is extensive, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, and eMMC, and it is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
