Acroview, a leader in chip programming solutions, has announced the expansion of its supported device portfolio with the latest release of its programming software. The company’s core product—the universal programming platform AP8000—has now been fully adapted to support MPS’s dual step-down converter MPQ73350FSGQJTE.
The MPQ73350FSGQJTE is a synchronous dual step-down converter designed specifically for automotive safety applications. It features a wide input voltage (VIN) range, enabling fast transient response, high efficiency, and excellent EMI performance, while offering comprehensive monitoring and protection features.
The MPQ73350FSGQJTE offers selectable dual-channel mode or single-output multi-phase mode. In dual-channel mode, each step-down converter can deliver up to 7A of output current (IOUT), or up to 12A with a heatsink. The device supports multi-phase parallel operation with up to four phases. Its switching frequency (fSW) is configurable from 200kHz to 2.2MHz and can be synchronized to an external clock signal. Additionally, the device features spread spectrum (FSS) to enhance EMI performance.
Comprehensive protection features include input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, input overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting, output overvoltage protection (OVP), output short-circuit protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown protection. With optional SPI or I2C interfaces, users can easily configure the device. The one-time programmable (OTP) memory also offers great application flexibility.
The MPQ73350FSGQJTE is available in a TQFN-28 (5x6mm) package and is AEC-Q100 qualified.

As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as the core component of Acroview’s automated high-volume programmer IPS5800S with stable and efficient performance, efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production demands.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity options, including both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers and efficiently perform parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement and connection status in real time. Once anomalies such as reverse insertion or short circuits are detected, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, ensuring the safe operation of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance ease of use, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users simply store the project file generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then select, load, and execute programming operations using the physical buttons on the programmer, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependence on computer hardware but also simplifies the workspace setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively expanding the functionality of the main unit. The device currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and other well-known brands. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
