Acroview Technology, a leader in chip programming, has officially announced the further expansion of its compatible chip model coverage while releasing a new version of its programming software. The company's core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, has now achieved full compatibility with AWINIC's Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) controller AW86008FOR.
The AW86008FOR is an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) controller. The chip integrates an on-chip 32-bit central processing unit (CPU) as the controller, equipped with 128KB flash memory and 64+16KB static random-access memory (SRAM) for program storage and data storage.
The built-in driver of the AW86008FOR supports linear current output. The 4-channel Hall (HALL) bias digital-to-analog converter (DAC) can be configured in current output mode to supply power to Hall sensors; the 4-channel tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) bias DAC can be configured in voltage output mode to supply power to TMR sensors. The 8-channel programmable gain amplifier (PGA) supports 8-channel single-ended signal input or 4-channel differential signal input.
The AW86008FOR embeds two serial peripheral interface (SPI) modules, supporting master mode, slave mode, and monitor mode; it also features two inter-integrated circuit (I2C) modules, supporting master mode and slave mode.

• Two SPI interfaces, configurable as master/slave/monitor, supporting 3-wire and 4-wire bus switching

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview Technology, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexibly adjustable one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, and provides both online and offline working modes. It offers dedicated programming solutions especially for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS, fully covering the bare die offline programming and in-system programming requirements of the entire AWINIC chip series. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design consisting of three core modules: the main unit, baseboard, and adapter socket, endowing the device with excellent compatibility and expandability. The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through the networking function, users can easily achieve synchronous control of multiple programmers and efficiently carry out parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit has a built-in intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once an abnormality such as reverse chip insertion or short circuit is detected, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, comprehensively safeguarding the safe operation of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, greatly enhancing data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance ease of use, an SD card slot is located on the rear of the main unit. Users simply store the project file generated on the PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the physical buttons on the programmer to complete file selection, loading, and programming operations, achieving standalone operation independent of a PC. This design not only reduces reliance on computer hardware configuration but also simplifies the workflow setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of baseboard and adapter board, effectively extending the functional boundaries of the main unit. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, and Kingston. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, and EMMC, and is fully compatible with multiple industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, all-scenario chip programming solution.
