The company’s core product – the universal programming platform AP8000 – now fully supports ChipON’s 32-bit automotive-grade microcontroller KF32A136KQSSF.

The KF32A136KQSSF is an automotive MCU that integrates a 32-bit high-performance KungFu32 core and meets the ASIL-B functional safety level. It incorporates multiple on-chip peripherals such as CANFD, SPI, LIN, and ADC, and is primarily used in body domain control modules, including switches, sensors, and controllers.

The device supports flexible one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, and offers both online and offline operation. It also features dedicated programming solutions for eMMC, UFS, and other memory chips, fully covering ChipON’s entire product series for both bare-chip offline programming and on-board programming. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules – mainframe, baseboard, and adapter boards – giving it excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only supports various programmable chips on the market but also delivers stable and high-performance operation, making it a core component of Acroview’s automated batch programming system IPS5800S for efficient high-volume programming tasks.

The AP8000 mainframe offers flexible connectivity with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can conveniently achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming. For safety, the mainframe incorporates an intelligent protection circuit that continuously monitors chip placement and connection status. In case of abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transfer and processing efficiency for smooth and efficient programming. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can save project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the physical buttons on the programmer to select, load, and execute programming operations – enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design reduces dependency on computer hardware, simplifies the setup process, and greatly improves operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 uses a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards to extend the mainframe’s capabilities. The device now supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and many others. Its supported device types cover NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and more, while also being fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
