The BPD96028 is a multiphase step-down digital controller supporting up to 8 phases, with X+(8-X) dual-rail power supply capability. It features a streamlined external component count and a compact solution architecture, meeting the requirements of high-current core power supply applications. The device supports output control via I2C and PMBUS revision 1.3, and is equipped with an SV13 interface for compatibility with AMD platform CPU and GPU processors.

The AP8000 main unit offers flexible connectivity options, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces for convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits are detected, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, ensuring comprehensive protection for both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is powered by a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance user convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can store project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then complete file selection, loading, and programming operations via physical buttons on the programmer, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependence on computer hardware configurations but also simplifies the workspace setup, greatly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the main unit’s functionality.
