Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has officially announced the further expansion of its compatible chip coverage with the release of its latest programming software. The company's core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, has now achieved full adaptation with MPS's dual‑loop digital multiphase controller MP2882.
The MP2882 is a dual‑loop digital multiphase controller designed to power memory and system‑on‑chip (SoC) applications. It works with MPS Intelli‑Phase™ products to realize a multiphase voltage regulator (VR) solution with a minimum of external components. The MP2882 can be configured to run up to 16 phases on Rail 1 and up to 8 phases on Rail 2.
The MP2882 provides on‑chip non‑volatile memory (NVM) to store and restore device configurations. Device configuration and fault parameters can be easily configured or monitored via the PMBus/I²C interface. The MP2882 can also monitor and report output current (IOUT) through the CS output of Intelli‑Phase™ devices.
The MP2882 employs a unique digital multiphase control that delivers fast load transient response with minimal output capacitance. It uses a single power‑loop control method for both steady‑state and load transient conditions, and the power‑loop compensation configuration is very straightforward.
The MP2882 is offered in a TQFN‑56 (7x7mm) package.

The AP8000 universal programmer independently developed by Acroview has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible and configurable one‑to‑one and one‑to‑eight configuration modes, and provides both online and offline operating modes. Dedicated programming solutions have been developed for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS, fully covering the bare‑chip offline programming and on‑board programming needs of MPS's full range of chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules – mainframe, baseboard and adapter socket – endowing the device with outstanding compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market, but also, with its stable and high‑efficiency performance, serves as the core component of Acroview's automated batch programming system IPS5800S, capable of handling large‑scale chip programming tasks efficiently to meet mass‑production requirements.

The AP8000 mainframe offers flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces for easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers and carry out parallel programming efficiently. In terms of safety, the mainframe incorporates intelligent safety protection circuits that monitor chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once abnormalities such as chip reverse insertion or short circuits are detected, the power‑cut protection mechanism is triggered immediately, safeguarding both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high‑speed FPGA chip internally, greatly improving data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure smooth and efficient programming. To enhance user convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the mainframe. Users only need to save the project file generated on the PC to an SD card and insert it into the slot, then select, load and execute programming operations via the physical buttons on the programmer, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependence on computer hardware configuration, but also simplifies the working environment setup process, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the mainframe's functionality. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well‑known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR and Kingston. Its wide device support includes NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC and more, and it is fully compatible with multiple industry‑standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary and POF, providing users with a one‑stop, full‑scenario chip programming solution.
