Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced the further expansion of its compatible device portfolio alongside the release of a new programming software version. Its core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, has now been fully adapted to support the embedded motor driver chip NSUC1612-Q1QAKR from Novosense.
The NSUC1612-Q1QAKR is a dedicated processor chip integrating 4-channel/3-channel half-bridge drivers, designed for controlling low-power motors. It can drive brushed DC motors, brushless DC motors, stepper motors, and more, and is widely used in automotive applications. This chip complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and supports a maximum junction temperature of up to 150°C. It also integrates overvoltage protection, with LIN port withstand voltage ranging from -40V to 40V and BVDD pin voltage ranging from -0.3V to 40V. The chip core is based on the ARM instruction set Cortex-M3, which adopts a Harvard architecture with separate data and address buses, improving the efficiency of address and data signal transmission.

The AP8000 universal programmer independently developed by Acroview has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, offers both online and offline operation, and features dedicated programming solutions for eMMC, UFS, and other memory chips. It fully covers the bare-chip offline programming and on-board programming needs for Novosense's entire series of chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules – mainframe, baseboard, and adapter – giving the device excellent compatibility and scalability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as a core component of Acroview's automated batch programming system IPS5800S with stable and efficient performance, capable of handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production requirements.

The AP8000 mainframe offers flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces for convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of security, the mainframe incorporates intelligent safety protection circuits that monitor chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits are detected, it immediately triggers overcurrent protection to safeguard the chip and programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can save project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then complete file selection, loading, and programming via the programmer's physical buttons, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware but also simplifies the workspace setup, greatly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the mainframe's capabilities. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, and Kingston. Its supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and more, and it is fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
